Leonard J. Lodermeier, 90, Goodhue, died on September 27, 2013.
Marrying RoseMary Gadient April 12, 1947, he found roots in Goodhue starting his business with three of his brothers repairing cars, expanding to farm equipment. Lodermeier's Inc. now is in its second/third generation. He also enjoyed farming with his brothers and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 54 years, RoseMary on August 9, 2001; brothers, twins Ralph and Frank, Alphonse, Edwin, Norbert, and Jerome.
He is survived by seven children, Gary (Judy) of Cottage Grove, Jennifer (Bruce) Wilson of Livermore, CA, Richard (Roxanne) of Goodhue, Peggy (Kevin) O'Connor of Goodhue, John (Teresa) of Zumbrota, Donna (Randy) Lott of Lakeville, and Roger (Bonnie) of Cannon Falls; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Eugene (Hazel) of Balsam Lake, WI, Lorraine Utecht of Coon Rapids, Victor of Amery, WI, Clarice Lodermeier of Boynton Beach, FL and Leroy (Eileen) of Amery, WI; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jeanne Lodermeier, Brona Lodermeier, Regina Morelan, Ray (Ruth) Gadient, Louis Ward, Agnes Gadient, Kay Gadient, Shirley Gadient, Neta Gadient and Berdell Gadient; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on October 1 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Goodhue. Interment with military honors followed at St. Columbkill Catholic Cemetery.
