Lorraine Otte, 84, Northfield, died at her home on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones.
Lorraine Gertrude Otte was born on September 18, 1929 in Castle Rock Township, to Andrew and Frances (Hoffman) May. She graduated from Randolph High School at the age of 16. Lorraine was united in marriage to Dwain Otte on September 20, 1949, and they farmed near Randolph for 44 years.

In 1994, Lorraine and Dwain sold the home farm and moved to Northfield, where she enjoyed doing hardanger, traveling and attending many family events. Lorraine will be remembered for her quick wit, hospitality and chocolate chip cookies. She lived for her family and was an inspiration to all.

The family would like to thank her favorite "four Irishmen": Dr. Hogan, Dr. Davin, Dr. O'Leary and Dr. Flynn as well as all the staff at Allina Clinic, Northfield Hospital, Abbott Hospital and Northfield Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion over the last six years. Julianna, Caroline, Lisa and Jeanne, we truly appreciate all of your loving care for Mom and Dad.
