Matt Moskal missed the state golf tournament by two strokes, following his two 18-hole rounds at River Oaks.
Moskal had a tough first day, shooting 83. Jackson Bahr led the team on day one with 80, Dalton Tanner had his best tournament score ever with 86, Jonah Callister shot 89, Cole Zimmerman 90 and Addison Bahr 91.
Moskal stormed back to shoot 71 on day two, only to miss the cut by two with a combined score of 154. Jackson Bahr had a another solid round, carding 80.
"Matt was pretty focused on that second day, against some pretty tough Metro competition," coach Doug Rechtzigel said. "This will only make our team better, and we will be better, with everybody coming back."
Caroline Bowen led the girls by shooting 95 and 96. Maddie Moskal shot 94 and 100 and Liz Freeberg 107 and 106.
