The RHS girls basketball team had two conference games last week, losing both.
Randolph was competitive against Medford on Tuesday, Jan. 15, but scored only three points in the final eight minutes to lose 61-44.
The Rockets stayed close to Medford most of the game, coach Mike Haase said, but had to foul late in the game and Medford was able to extend its lead. Randolph pulled to within three before going into their late-game slump.
Breanna Wille scored 16 points, Jami Kusilek had eight, Kelsie Jo Endres five, Carolyn Meyer and Jenny Werner four, Taylor Bickman three, and Sami Bey and Josie Fields two each.
A slow start Friday doomed Randolph in a 48-32 loss to Waterville. "Although we played them evenly after that, we weren't able to get back to a point where the game was within reach," Haase said.
Madi Taylor had a team-high 11 points, Kusilek had five, Bey and Carolyn Meyer four, Ashleigh Dralle three, Abby Meyer and Wille two, and Bickman had one.
Randolph was at home Tuesday. They host Blooming Prairie Friday, then go to United South Central on Tuesday, Jan. 29.
