Tuesday, November 6:
Welch Ski Village reported a theft which happened between Friday, November 2 and Tuesday, November 6. Copper ground wire was taken from two substations and cable and wire were taken from two other locations. Replacement value and damages were estimated at $10,000.
Thursday, November 8:
Melissa VanBoxel, 43, Cannon Falls, was ticketed for speed (67/55).
Darla Lundell, 52, Cannon Falls, was ticketed for speed (67/55).
Kayla Mulvihill, 24, Hampton, was cited for speed (70/55).
Friday, November 9:
Scott W. Johnson, Mount Hill Road, Welch Township, reported a barn fire on his property. Upon looking out the window, the barn was totally engulfed. The fire was possibly caused by a battery charger. No damage estimate is available.
Saturday, November 10:
Welch Ski Village reported an overnight theft of wiring taken off four booms and six snow making machines. Labor and replacement value is $6,300.
Sunday, November 11:
Emily Leshe, 21, Minneapolis, by Cannon Falls Police on a warrant out of St. Louis, Mo. She is being held.
A fire was reported on Oxford Mill Road at 5:54 p.m. at the Joel Thorland residence in Stanton Township. An attached garage was on fire, probable cause was a heater in the garage.
Monday, November 12:
A burglary which happened overnight was reported by Donald Sirinek, 320th Street in Stanton Township. Someone entered a detached shop and took two chain saws and a drill charger. Total value is $850.
