North of the South Border

To the editor:


Hard to shoot kids, even kids who swim the Rio Grande River. Deport to starve, not nice either. Let the Tea Party solve that one.

Maybe keep one and swim one of ours south across the Rio. Even Steven.

You'd get cultural emulsification, mutual pollution, or just shared starvation to open your eyes.

That contraception is the lesser of evils might get through thick prejudiced heads.


I'm for zero tax up to and including me. Corporate preference is zero tax down to and including them.

So which end of the economic earthworm does which party (parties if T is a party) dance with?

I sort of admire the guy who drove money changers out of the temple.

Maybe we can agree a deadlock, do-less-than- nothing Congress resembles road kill more than statesmen.

If you feel insulted maybe there's hope for us yet.


Always an optimist, I presumed I'd generate a lively cosmological debate. The silence was deafening.

It's simple compared to politics.
