I would like to thank First English Church for the delightful woman's gathering on Sunday. The "Copper Coins" were so enjoyable and the desserts were delicious.
I moved here from St. Paul nine years ago and I just love this town. There is so much going on here for senior citizens that you don't have to feel bored or lonely. The Stonehouse has activities almost every day during the week, the library has two movie times during the month; also a book club once a month. Shepherd's Center has a game day once a month, and also a Triad meeting once a month. It also provides trips and coffee if you stop in for a chat. There also is an "Adventures in Learning" four times a year at St. Ansgar's Church, which consists of a meal and two speakers. This is put on by the Shepherd's Center. Most churches have day time Bible studies open to all.
I want to thank all the churches that let the public use their building for meetings. Riverwood Church has weekly meeting for all, and one huge free garage sale yearly.
I'm so thankful for the wonderful friends I have met and thank God for bringing me here. If your lonesome, come join us for fun and fellowship.
