Our personal letter to the editor, who we call only "Mr. Dalton," had a message that he neglected to include in his public response, which was: Offended by his attack, we wrote that it's not in a businessman's best interest to publicly insult and call his subscribers/contributors names (ex. "homophobics") as he did us: later stating he doesn't call people names! Other Beacon editorial writers will see this and be numbed of wanting to contribute anything that might be in opposition to Mr. Dalton's strong opinions.
In order for the Beacon's continued success it is in dire need of intelligent, factual and thought provoking editorial material, which it will not have, if its good editorial writers - as many are - start fearing Mr. Dalton. Our local paper then becomes to a degree censored. Coast-to-coast mainstream papers are well censored - the reason they are failing in readership (boring reading). This is the crux of the personal message that he misconstrued and took the liberty to partially publish in his second degradation of us.
He, for some reason, is against the word "sexual pervert" which is proper English and needs no meaning explanation. We don't use "gay," which means happy, because we don't believe such people are truly happy. So let's agree with God and call them "sodomites."
On that subject: Jesus, who is God in flesh, spoke of marriage in Mat. 19:4-5 "He (God) ...made them male and female...for this cause shall a man leave father and mother and cleave to his wife."
We encourage you to vote "YES" to the marriage amendment that marriage is only between one man and one woman (not one sodomite and another sodomite). Our nation's traditional definition of marriage is clear throughout the Bible, Old and New Testaments.
