This year the Randolph FFA Chapter had 39 of its members competing at the Minnesota State Fair.
Shane Peterson was the Champion in the Safe Tractor Operations contest and Mason Lindenfelser was the reserve Champion.
Randolph won the Team Championship in the Tractor Operators Contest, and Shane Peterson had the overall Champion "Best of Show" in Agricultural Technology.
In livestock, members had dairy, beef, swine, sheep and goats. Will Bollum had the Grand Champion Limousin female, Thomas Duff had the reserve chamapion Limousin female.
Carrie Conrad had the champion Montedale ram and reserve champion Montedale ewe.
Jackson Neil had the reserve champion Jr. Hereford female and reserve champion Sr. Hereford female.
Tyler Otte had the champion dairy steer carcass.
Mandy Marthaler had the champion beef steer, lots of first, second and third placings in classes.
Laura Bachmeier was champion market swine showperson, and Mandy Marthaler was champion market beef showperson.
The Randolph Chapter was second overall in dairy, third overall in beef, third overall in market livestock and third in beef herdsmanship.
Students from the Cannon Falls FFA Chapter exhibiting livestock were Kaesey Glaess with beef, Cody Wysocki with goats and Miranda Felton with swine.
Wysocki was also one of the Miracle of Birth Center workers. The center was one of the most visited free attractions at the State Fair. Cody spent six days helping care for the pregnant animals and assisted during births of multiple animals.
