The 2010 annual mini golf tournament sponsored by the Cannon Falls Elementary School PTO will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 31 from noon to 5:00 p.m.
Everyone is encouraged to enjoy lunch and golfing on course that will be set up in the halls of the elementary school.
The cost is $3 per person with a $10 maximum per family.
Each grade and department is charged with finding a theme for a hole, then decorating the area to fit the theme. Signs will be posted identifying sponsors.
The class with the most students in attendance wins a pizza party or prize of their choosing. The grade with the favorite golf hole wins $50.
100% of profits go to the elementary school. Proceeds will fund the annual fourth grade Eagle Bluff field trip. Any excess money will be earmarked for the PTO's general fund to help pay for other field trips and to fulfill teacher requests.
Last year, approximately 700 golfers turned out for the event.
The PTO stresses that this is the only organization fundraiser for which business support is solicited.

Any business wishing to sponsor a hole can mail a check for $100 payable to CF PTO to Julie Mills, CFAES PTO, 5585 County 9 Boulevard, Dennison, MN 55018.
