The 25th annual Cannon Falls Medical Center Auxiliary Celebrity Night fundraiser is right around the corner.
Saturday, Feb. 6 at 7:00 p.m., the Cannon Falls High School's new auditorium will be the venue hosting performances by a myriad of local talent.
Performing in the St. Ansgar's Handbell Choir are Angie Lee, Deb Norstad, Ann Anderson, Shelly Schroeder, Tania Anderson, Muriel Cherwinka, Sheryl Flom, Jane Bracken, Debra Schulz, Todd Erickson and Brooklyn Hanson.
Another local performer, Colleen Rapp, a nurse at the Cannon Falls Medical Center, has been singing since childhood. As a young child, she sang in Northfield's Youth Choir. Colleen has performed with different bands since she was 13 years old and currently enjoys singing at church, weddings, and funerals. She has also performed "The National Anthem" at the Cannon Valley Fair.
Rebecca Erickson will play piano for her sister Mary Jill Duncan's vocal solo. Mary Jill has sung in several Celebrity Night shows including the first one. She also sang with the Minnesota Chorale for several years. She lives in Cannon Falls with her husband Bill, son Matt, and daughter Christine Benson.
A Stillwater resident with husband Carl and two college-aged children, Rebecca has taught piano and is an active church musician, playing in bell choir and directing youth bell choir. She is a frequent accompanist for solos and ensembles.
Other entertainment includes piano duo Shelly Schroeder and Jane Bracken, the "Dolce Duets" of Caroline and Anna Priore, Anthony Jenkins singing and playing acoustic guitar, Marian Theel Scholarship winner Kayla Burke playing piano, CFHS Jazz Choir, CFHS Jazz Band, CFHS Steel Drums, singers Betsie and Dan Feldkamp, a string quartet from Cannon Falls, and the Cannon Valley Shrine Clowns (Frank Peterson (Frankie), Bob Boesen (Bozie), Kenny Monaghan (Ollie), and Bill Callister (Dee Cie).
