The Education Foundation fundraiser, Night at the Winery, Saturday night was a successful event according to Steve Erhardt. Approximately 134 people attended the event, which was up from last year.
"We were very pleased with the night," Erhardt said, "and proud that the instruments used for the entertainment - the steel drum band, orff instruments, and Yamaha clavinova piano played by Jane Peterson - were all purchased by the Cannon Falls Education Foundation."
Other equipment/programs funded by the Education Foundation were also on display. "It tied things together so well," Erhardt observed.
The fundraiser netted $1,600 for the education foundation. "100% of that will go toward programs funded by the Cannon Falls Education Foundation," Erhardt said.
