Free events at CV Fair!
Free events at the Cannon Valley Fair to be held in Cannon Falls from July 1-5 include the FFA barnyard, open daily, the Bob Bohm comedy/fun show with four shows each day, the dunk tank, and minnow races, also held daily.

On Saturday, June 27, the 4-H, FFA, and WSCA youth open fair horse show will be held at 8:00 a.m. in the 4-H horse arena.

Wednesday, July 1 the fair opens with the Goodhue County Commissioners monthly meeting at 10:00 a.m., which is open to the public. At 3:00 p.m. the Battle of the Bands begins, from 4-7:00 p.m. 4-H demonstrations take place, and also at 4:00 p.m. there will be an FFA tug of war.

Thursday, July 2 from 9:00 a.m. until noon is day care day, and from noon to 2:00 p.m. the Carpenter Nature Center display will be open.

Friday, July 3 is senior citizen's day from 10:00 a.m., until 3:00 p.m., the kid power pedal tractor pull at 10:00 a.m. four shows presented throughout the day by The One-Man Band-Lyndon Peterson, dog trials demonstration at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., and Conbrio (70s and 80s country classic rock) at 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 4 kicks off with the grande day parade at 11:30 a.m., followed at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. by dog trials demonstration, concluding with fireworks at dusk.

Sunday, July 5 the ranch rodeo begins at 10:00 a.m., and from noon - 4:00 p.m. the BBQ cook-off will take place. Singer Brenda Owens wraps it up from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
